Privacy Policy

Waaant is built so that your wishes stay yours. We show no ads, we do not track you, and we do not sell your data. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and who processes it.

1. Information We Collect

Account data. When you sign in, we receive your email address or the identifier provided by Apple or Google (depending on the method you choose).

Saved product data. The products you save: title, image, price, URL, and the lists, categories and notes you create.

Purchase data. If you subscribe, Apple processes the payment. Our subscription provider, RevenueCat, receives a random account identifier and your subscription status. It does not receive your email address from us.

We do not collect sensitive personal data.

2. What We Do Not Do

• We do not include advertising in the app.
• We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising SDKs in the app, and we do not build a profile of what you want.
• We do not sell your personal data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not use third-party crash-reporting services. If you choose to share diagnostics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data only to run Waaant:

• Save and display your products and lists
• Synchronize your data across your devices
• Provide, restore and manage your subscription
• Respond to support requests

4. Who Processes Your Data

We rely on a small number of service providers, acting on our behalf:

• Supabase: authentication and storage of your account and saved products.
• Apple and Google: sign-in, if you choose "Sign in with Apple" or Google Sign-In.
• Apple and RevenueCat: payments and subscription management.

We share your data otherwise only when required by law or with your explicit consent.

5. Sharing Features

Items and lists are private by default. If you choose to share an item or a list, anyone with the link can view it. You can stop sharing at any time.

6. Website

The Waaant website uses Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It only counts aggregate page views and clicks on the website. Pages that show a shared list or item are counted as a single anonymous page: their link and their contents are never recorded.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data
• Correct it
• Delete your account and all associated data, directly in the app or by contacting us
• Contact us for any privacy-related concern

8. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If we ever make a significant change to the way we handle data, we will tell you before it takes effect.
